Swedish Massage

 

Swedish massage is most commonly used for relaxation.  If this is your first time receiving a massage or if you do not get bodywork very often, Swedish massage is the perfect massage for you.

This technique is a soothing manipulation of the muscles using long, smooth strokes with a light to moderate pressure.  Swedish massage can help to temporarily lower blood pressure, ease anxiety and alleviate tight and sore muscles.

We offer Swedish massage in thirty, sixty and ninety minute durations:

A thirty minute session is adequate if you want only one or two specific areas addressed;

A sixty minute session allows for a full-body massage including time to address specific areas; 

A ninety minute session is the ultimate choice if you want a full-body massage and also have specific areas that require more than just a few extra minutes of attention.

If you can tolerate more pressure, even momentary discomfort, to get relief from muscle pain, a Deep Tissue massage may be a more appropriate choice for you.
