Swedish Massage uses long gliding strokes with a light to moderate pressure. This technique is most often used for relaxation and relief of minor muscle tension. Pressure can be adjusted to the client's needs. If you are new to receiving massage, this is a great place to start.

PAYMENT FOR SERVICES
Payment is due at the time of service and may be made with U.S. currency or your personal check drawn from a local bank. While some health insurance plans reimburse for therapeutic massage, we do not process claims for insurance reimbursement nor do we accept insurance assignment. If you intend to have your health insurance provider cover the cost of our services, upon payment in full from you, we will provide you with a Statement of Services which you can submit to your insurance provider for direct reimbursement.
CANCELLATIONS & NO-SHOWS
Life happens; we get that. Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to keep your appointment. If you fail to appear for an appointment that you have not previously cancelled or rescheduled, after the third occurrence, we will not be able to schedule you for future sessions. If you fail to appear for an appointment for which a gift certificate is being redeemed, the gift certificate will be considered redeemed.
BEING LATE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT
We often schedule sessions consecutively, so we urge you to be prompt, as we are not able to extend your session beyond your scheduled time. In the event you are late for your appointment, the full fee or value of gift certificate covers your scheduled session length or any portion thereof.
SERVICE EXCEPTIONS
We reserve the right to cancel a session if alcohol or recreational drug use is evident, if we feel your conduct is inappropriate, or if we believe the session would be contraindicated by a qualified health care program.
GIFT CERTIFICATES
Gift certificates are available for any of our services or for any dollar amount toward services.
Please call us to arrange for the purchase of gift certificates.
